Gold price jumps by Rs 3,700 per tola

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat gold per tola increased by Rs 3,700 and was sold at Rs 543,262 on Wednesday compared to its sale at Rs 539,562 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs 3,172 to Rs 465,759 from Rs 462,587, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 2,908 to Rs 426,961 from Rs 424,053.

The rates of silver, however, remained unchanged in the domestic market as the price of silver per tola stayed constant at Rs 9,354 while that of 10 gramof s silver remained stable at Rs 8,019.

In the international market, the price of gold increased by $37 to $5,205, whereas the price of silver remained unchanged at $88.70, the association reported. APP
