Sajid Khan wants more exposure in red-ball cricket

LAHORE: Pakistan off-spinner Sajid Khan expressed on Wednesday his wish to play more Test cricket, hoping that the Green Shirts would improve their rankings in red-ball cricket.
Speaking to media in Lahore, Khan acknowledged the role of former Pakistan spinner Abdur Rehman for working with the spinners in the camp. “We are getting quiet help from the camp that usually begins early in the morning,” he said. He said, “It is an honour to represent Pakistan in Test cricket. I am looking to work on my game in the white-ball format. I had started my domestic career by playing white-ball cricket.”
Talking about the four-day Test cricket, he said, “Nobody would like to watch four-day Tests because they are more likely to end in a draw.” He said, “Talks are going on with up to three clubs to feature in the English county. I am looking to play a maximum of six matches in the county cricket.”
