Flour supply ensured at fixed rate across district: DFC

SARGODHA: District Food Controller(DFC)Waqar Yousuf on Saturday said that on the special instructions of DC Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry,the supply of flour in the district was continuing without interruption.

He said flour was being released from private wheat stocks of flour mills at the government fixed rate to ensure smooth availability in the market.

The DFC said a 10kg flour bag was available across the district at Rs.905,adding that continuous monitoring was being carried out to maintain supply and prevent shortages.

He warned that overcharging and hoarding would not be tolerated under any circumstances and strict legal action would be taken against violators.

DFC Waqar Yousuf added that ensuring the supply of flour at affordable prices,in line with Punjab government directives, remains a top priority of the district administration. APP
