Several food outlets sealed for smart lock down violations

SARGODHA: On the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC),Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry,authorities have intensified enforcement of smart lockdown measures and government-prescribed business hours in the city.

According to a spokesperson, DC Ahmed Sher Gondal led a crackdown against multiple food outlets, sealing several establishments for operating beyond the stipulated time and continuing indoor dining.

Among those sealed were Omar Khayyam,NY 212,White Castle and Oriza Cafe for violating restrictions,including remaining open after 10pm and offering indoor dining services.

DC reiterated that under government orders,all forms of service particularly indoor dining were prohibited after the prescribed hours,warning that indiscriminate action would be taken against violators.

He further cautioned that strict legal action would be initiated against those defying the orders,adding that no leniency would be shown. He also urged citizens and traders to comply with government directives to support energy conservation efforts. APP
