Gold per tola gains Rs 4,800 in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs472,062 after a gain of Rs4,800 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs404,717 after it increased by Rs4,116, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Friday, gold price per tola reached Rs467,262 after a decline of Rs1,000 during the day.

The international rate of gold was up by $48 to reach $4,493 per ounce (with a premium of $20). Meanwhile, the price of silver remained the same at Rs7,454 per tola. Staff Report
