Gold price drops by Rs 1,800 per tola

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat per tola gold decreased by Rs 1,800 and was sold at Rs 522,762 on Monday compared to its sale at Rs 524,562 on the previous trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also decreased by Rs 1,543 to Rs 448,184 from Rs 449,727, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 1,414 to Rs 410,850 from Rs 412,264.

The rates of per tola silver decreased by Rs 100 to Rs 8,441 from Rs 8,541, whereas that of ten grams silver declined by Rs 86 to Rs 7,236 from Rs 7,322.

The price of gold in the international market decreased by $18 to $5,000 from $5,018, while that of silver declined by $1.00 to $79.57, the Association reported. Staff Report
