353 graduates awarded degrees at PNEC convocation
KARACHI: The 37th Convocation of Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC) was held at the Bahria Auditorium, Karachi, with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah as the chief guest.
A total of 353 graduates were awarded degrees, including four PhDs, 41 MS degrees, and 308 bachelor’s degrees. The chief guest also presented 39 medals to outstanding students, comprising seven President’s Gold Medals, four Chief of the Naval Staff Gold Medals, eight Chancellor’s Silver Medals, 18 Rector’s Gold Medals, and two Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medals, in recognition of exceptional academic performance.
Congratulating the graduates and their parents, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah praised PNEC for producing highly skilled engineers contributing to Pakistan’s industrial and technological development. He also highlighted the presence of foreign students as evidence of the institution’s growing international standing.
