Rupee gains 03 paisa against US dollar

ISLAMABAD: The Rupee on Wednesday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs279.12 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 279.15.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs279 and Rs280.15, respectively.

The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs3.34 to close at Rs323.47 from the previous day’s close of Rs 320.13, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese Yen went up by 01 paisa and closed at Rs1.75, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs1.87 and closed at Rs370.61 compared to the previous day’s Rs368.74.

The exchange rate of the Emirate and the Saudi Riyal decreased by 01 and 03 paisa and closed at Rs75.99 and Rs74.36, respectively. APP
