Gold price surges further by Rs 2,800

ISLAMABAD: The prices of gold witnessed a significant increase on Tuesday with the price of 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs 2,800 to reach Rs 478,762 as compared to Rs 475,962 on the previous day.

According to the association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs 2,401 to Rs 410,461 from Rs 408,060, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 2,201 to Rs 376,269 from Rs 374,068, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association on Tuesday.

The price of gold in the international market increased by $28 to $4,560 from $4,532, the association reported.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 260 to Rs 7,784 from Rs 7,524, while that of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs 223 to Rs 6,673 from Rs 6,450.

The price of silver in the international market also increased by $2.60 to $73.00 from $70.40. APP
