Gold price surges by Rs 6,200 per tola

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs6,200 on Tuesday and was traded at Rs539,562 against its sale at Rs533,362 in the local market the previous trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs5,316 to Rs462,587 from Rs457,271 whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs4,873 to Rs424,053 from Rs419,180.

The rates of per tola silver increased by Rs460 to Rs9,354 whereas that of ten grams silver rose by Rs394 to Rs8,019.

The price of gold in the international market increased by $62 to $5,168 from $5,106 whereas that of silver rose by $4.6 to $88.70, the Association reported. APP
