Islamabad: The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan hosted a spectacular event themed “Chinese New Year, China–Pakistan Go Together” to mark the joyous occasion of the Chinese Spring Festival and the arrival of the Year of the Horse, celebrating the timeless bond of friendship between the two neighboring nations.
The vibrant gathering served as a platform to celebrate the new year with Pakistani brothers and sisters while reaffirming the unshakeable and enduring friendship that has consistently defined the bilateral relations between China and Pakistan over decades of mutual cooperation and trust.
Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik attended the momentous occasion as the chief guest, actively sharing in the festive spirit and highlighting the deep-rooted and multifaceted bond between Pakistan and China, according to an official news release issued by the Ministry of Petroleum.

He specifically mentioned that following the remarkable success of the Saindak Project, the next major and highly anticipated milestone in bilateral mining cooperation would be the Reko Diq project, expressing sincere hope that it would be operationalized in the near future to boost economic activity.
