Gold price drops sharply by Rs 3,200 per tola

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices witnessed a significant decline in both domestic and international markets on Monday as 24 karat gold per tola rates decreased by Rs3,200 to settle at Rs523,762, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs2,743 to Rs449,041, while that of 10 grams of 22 karat gold dropped by Rs2,515 to Rs411,635. In the international market, gold prices declined by $32 to $5,010 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a downward trend. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs55 to Rs8,164, while 10 grams of silver declined by Rs47 to Rs6,999. In the international market, silver prices fell by $0.55 to $76.80 per ounce. APP
