Gold price rises by Rs 11,700 per tola

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices witnessed an increase in the local market on Saturday, as the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs11,700 to settle at Rs519,462, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs10,030 to Rs445,354, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs9,195 to Rs408,256.

Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an upward trend, with the price of 24-karat silver per tola rising by Rs444 to Rs8,269, whereas the price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver increased by Rs381 to Rs7,089. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $117 to $4,967 per ounce, while silver prices surged by $4.44 to $77.94 per ounce. APP
