Spotify spotlights Shae Gill as RADAR Pakistan artist
ISLAMABAD: Spotify has named Shae Gill as its featured RADAR Pakistan artist for 2026, recognizing her as one of the country’s most promising emerging voices. Known for her distinctive vocals and seamless blend of contemporary and traditional sounds, Shae Gill has won acclaim both at home and internationally.
To mark the milestone, Spotify is highlighting her latest release, “Insecurity”, a powerful Punjabi track that explores personal vulnerability. The song has garnered more than 256,000 streams since its release and continues to resonate strongly with listeners.
As part of Spotify’s global artist development initiative, the streaming platform will also showcase Shae Gill’s personal and professional journey through a special mini-docuseries, offering insights into her evolution as an artist.
Over the past month, Shae Gill’s music has attracted audiences beyond Pakistan, with top streaming markets including the United States, the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, and Canada.
Her 2025 releases, “Gila” and “Staring At Me,” further strengthened her position as an artist redefining modern melodies with a distinct personal touch.
Commenting on her selection, Shae Gill said she was grateful to be chosen as a Spotify RADAR artist, describing the recognition as a meaningful milestone in her creative journey. She said she remains focused on developing her solo work, refining her sound, and connecting with listeners who relate to her music.
