Israel won’t agree to Palestinian state even to secure Saudi deal: Netanyahu

GAZA:  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday said that Tel Aviv will not allow a Palestinian state to exist, calling it an “existential threat”.

During an interview with an Israeli news outlet, Netanyahu said Israel would not budge on the issue even to secure normalisation with Saudi Arabia.

“It’s possible that the conditions could come to be, but the conditions would have to be acceptable to both sides, good for both sides,” he said. “If it comes together, great, and if not, we’ll protect our vital interests,” he added. Monitoring Desk
