Pakistan’s economic outlook improving, says KP Governor at CEO awards
ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that Pakistan offers a promising and supportive environment for business and investment, noting that the country is endowed with immense talent and potential. He stated that the government’s effective economic measures are producing encouraging results and that the national economy is gradually moving toward stability and growth.
Addressing the CEO Club Pakistan Annual Awards 2024-25 as the chief guest, Governor Kundi congratulated the award recipients and emphasised the collective responsibility of all stakeholders. “We must work together to place Pakistan among the ranks of developed nations,” he said.
The ceremony honoured top-performing chief executives from diverse sectors. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC/NEVTTC), was awarded Best Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan.
Other key award recipients included Muhammad Atif Hanif (CEO, Al Baraka Bank), Dr. Rubina Khilji (FF Steel), and Hassan Raza (CEO, Bank of Khyber), each recognised for outstanding performance in their fields.
The event drew a distinguished gathering, including CEO Club Pakistan Founder and President Ijaz Nisar, US Consul General Peshawar Thomas Eckert, KP Finance Adviser Muzzamil Aslam, industrialist Ayub Zaqoory, Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan, Islamabad CEO Club President Zahid Latif Khan, Peshawar Chamber President Junaid Altaf, Rawalpindi Chamber President Usman Shaukat, and prominent business personality Azanfar Bilour.
