10th National Olive Festival begins in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: The 10th National Olive Festival 2025 has begun in Allama Iqbal Park Rawalpindi. The festival is held by Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi in collaboration with  Olive Foundation.

On the first day of the Festival, a large number of people participated in the ceremony, beautiful stalls of various products were decorated.

DG PHA Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha paid a special visit to the Olive Festival at Allama Iqbal Park, on this occasion, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha inspected various stalls and carefully reviewed the arrangements for the festival.

Speaking on the occasion, DG PHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha was also given a magnificent Ajrak.

Ranjha also visited various stalls at the Olive Festival and engaged in discussions about the products placed there.

He said that this year is being celebrated on the completion of ten years of the festival to appreciate those farmers, researchers and entrepreneurs who played a significant role in making Pakistan self-sufficient in the olive sector.

DG PHA Rawalpindi said that the National Olive Festival is a prominent national platform for promoting olive cultivation, value addition, agro-business opportunities and sustainable agriculture in Pakistan.

The organizers deserve congratulations for the successful organization of the festival that will be continued till Monday. APP
