Pakistan, Malaysia vow to deepen military collaboration
CJCSC underscores strong bilateral ties b/w Pakistan, Bahrain
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan and Malaysia have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen military-to-military relationship in the light of evolving regional security dynamics.
The commitment was expressed during a meeting between Chief of Defence Forces Malaysia, General Tan Sri Hj Mohd Nizam bin Hj Jaffar and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
During the meeting, both sides held comprehensive discussions on the evolving global and regional security environment and underscored the importance of exploring new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation in defence and security domains.
The visiting dignitary remained appreciative of professional standards of Pakistan Armed Forces, their achievements and sacrifices in fight against terrorism and continued efforts towards regional peace and stability.
Meanwhile, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has underscored the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bahrain.
He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of King Hamad Institute of Nursing and Associated Medical Sciences in Islamabad.
The ceremony was also attended by Commander Bahrain National Guard General Shaikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and other senior civil-military officers.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza said that the inauguration of King Hamad Institute of Nursing and Associated Medical Sciences marks an important milestone in advancing medical education, expressing confidence that the institute would produce competent healthcare professionals and set new benchmarks in nursing and associated medical sciences in Pakistan.
