Achakzai urges unity & aid for flood victims

QUETTA:Chairman of the Pashtun National Awami Party and head of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan and Member of the National Assembly, National Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai, while talking to the flood-affected areas, expressed extreme sorrow and regret over the losses caused by natural disasters and said that technology has reached such an extent that the reasons for everything can be found here and in today’s era, the developed countries of the world consider the reason for these torrential rains, changes and destruction of the ecological system to be the pollution generated by those factories, especially where large weapons and other materials are made and other factories are present, which has changed the environment, that is, untimely intense heat, severe cold, stormy rains, natural disasters are the result of these. On the other hand, we are busy cutting down our forests and trees indiscriminately. In the developed countries of the world, forests and wildlife are protected, those who cut down forests are punished and regular people are assigned to protect them. We also have to protect our forests and trees and avoid cutting them. We have to ban cutting down forests. Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that the Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is sitting here, but this is not just a matter of a minister or the Chief Minister of the government, but we appeal to the central government, international donor agencies and capitalists and philanthropists of our nation to come forward to help the victims in a transparent manner. There has been a great destruction, dear people, houses and everything in them and property have been destroyed by the flood. It is very sad that a family from Sialkot who stood in Swat for an hour and appealed, but no helicopter came to save these human lives. Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that we have to help each other. If each person contributes according to their means, it will be billions of rupees and through this we can fully help our victims. I had said in the past that I will come and today we are equal partners in this grief with you. May Allah Almighty grant all those people who were dear to you and left this world a place in Paradise and grant patience to the survivors. Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that we will be in the forefront in helping our people. Such incidents will continue to come from nature, but we will have to share each other’s sorrow and pain with unity and agreement. Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that the mountains of the Pashtunkhwa homeland contain all the blessings and minerals that Allah Almighty has mentioned in Surah Rahman of the Holy Quran. But our people are deprived of control and authority over their homeland and its resources and we have to achieve this control and authority. The first right over the resources here will be of the children of here. If our children are killed for defending their resources, their homeland, then this is not terrorism, but defending their home. It is the duty of every young man and child of the country to defend their honor and dignity, homeland, and resources. Our children should be given control over their resources, and their right to minerals should be recognized. These children should be given not the whole thing but some share so that those who live a miserable life of traveling around the world can work hard near their homeland and feed their children and live a peaceful and prosperous life.
