Three FC men martyred in terrorists’ hit in Karak
Police officer, 2 accomplices gunned down in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Terrorists’ attack on the security forces near the Oil field in Karak district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district on Wednesday left at least three security personnel martyred.
“Three Frontier Constabulary personnel were martyred when unidentified attackers opened fire on their vehicle in the Garagri oil field area of Banda Daud Shah Tehsil of Karak,” officials of the district administration said.
According to the District Police Officer Karak the FC personnel were targeted while carrying out routine patrol duties adding the unknown terrorists showered the FC vehicle with bullets. He said the officers were assigned to security duty for a gas company operating in the area.”
While the security forces have kicked off search operation in the region to net those responsible for Wednesday’s terror attack that continued till the filing of this report. The district administration has beefed up the security around the official buildings with particular reference to sensitive installations including gas fields.
Earlier, a Police Officer was martyred along with two accomplices in the outskirts of the provincial metropolis Tuesday late in the evening.
Reports said the head of investigation cell of the Police Station Michni gate Inspector Ali Hussain was travelling with his two accomplices when unknown miscreants riding on three motorbikes showered their vehicle with the bullets leaving all the three people on board the car dead on the spot.
Senior Police officials rushed to the site and shifted the dead bodies of the slain officer and others to the hospital for autopsy. The Police have kicked off a search operation to arrest the killers who remained at large. NNI
