Pakistan sends additional 200 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza

ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan has dispatched an additional 200 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza through two special flights, according to the spokesperson of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

The latest shipment includes the 17th consignment of aid, weighing 100 tons, which departed from Islamabad on a dedicated flight.

Another 100-ton shipment is scheduled to be sent in the coming days.

The 17th consignment comprises 65 tons of ready-to-eat meals, 20 tons of powdered milk for children, 5 tons of biscuits, and 10 tons of essential medicines.

With this latest delivery, Pakistan has sent a total of 1,715 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza through 17 consignments.

Once the second scheduled flight departs, the cumulative total will reach 1,815 tons.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and NDMA Chairman attended the send-off ceremony as chief guests.
