Mahmoodul Hasan, a young man from a small village in Fort Abbas, raised the Pakistani flag high by winning an MMA fight in Sydney, Australia, defeating Leon Ho in a fierce contest. Hasan, who initially went to Australia for education, stunned audiences with his skill and resilience in what is considered one of the world’s most dangerous combat sports.
His remarkable victory has sparked a wave of celebration across Fort Abbas, with locals praising his dedication and passion. People from all walks of life continue to send him congratulations for making his village, region, and country proud on the global stage. Meanwhile, Pakistani boxer Shaheer Afridi, representing the Sindh Police, is making headlines in the World Police and Fire Games 2025 being held in the United States.
Afridi delivered an impressive performance, defeating an American opponent in the semi-final, and qualified for the final round of the prestigious competition. Speaking to the media, the proud fighter expressed his determination to win the gold medal and bring further glory to Pakistan and the national police force. “It is an honour to represent the Pakistan Police on such a grand stage. I am determined to win the final and raise the Pakistani flag once again,” said Shaheer Afridi.
