German embassy hosts Christmas market
ISLAMABAD: The German Embassy hosted its annual Christmas Market, bringing a taste of German holiday traditions to the local community. The event, held at a hotel, offered a unique blend of authentic German food, handmade gifts, and joyful festivities.
Visitors enjoyed traditional German treats, such as homemade cakes, cookies, and mouth-watering delights, all capturing the essence of a classic German Christmas. They also browsed unique ornaments and gifts showcasing German craftsmanship, creating a lively ambiance filled with laughter and festive cheer.
The event aimed to promote cultural exchange and share the magic of German Christmas traditions, strengthening the bond between Germany and Pakistan. German Ambassador Alfred Grannas emphasized that the Christmas bazaar was a way to welcome the holiday season, especially for those far from home. The proceeds from the event will be donated to needy families, aligning with the true spirit of Christmas.
